Experience advanced decoding with the Thor IRD, a state-of-the-art decoder featuring an RF tuner, IP streaming capabilities, and a front LCD confidence monitor. This versatile device supports both 608 and 708 closed captioning, making it a comprehensive solution for various broadcasting needs. With RF tuners available for DVB-S2, ATSC, and QAM, all settings and alarm information can be easily managed through a web-based network management console.

The Thor H-HD-IRD series is designed for decoding program content into broadcast-quality video, equipped with major video signal outputs, including HD-SDI. It delivers HD video to any display or professional video system and offers modern digital audio outputs via optical Toslink and XLR connectors. Dolby AC/3 audio pass-through is standard, ensuring high-quality audio performance.

The V3 platform enhances functionality with a front panel LCD for confidence monitoring and an internal program multiplexer for combining content from ASI and IP sources. The web interface allows you to view all available programs and corresponding PIDs, with each program independently added to either ASI or IP outputs. All selected programs are multiplexed into a single MPTS output, and the IP output can be configured for up to 32 SPTS single program stream outputs, each with unique address and port settings. This makes the V3 system an intelligent ASI to IP or RF to IP Gateway with add-drop and ASI video signal multiplexing capabilities.

The RF tuner supports configurations for QAM, 8VSB (ATSC), DVB-T, DVB-C, or DVB-S2 signal sources. Two CAS card slots allow for the decoding of encrypted programming. Thor HD-IRD units are ideal for converting broadband programming to uncompressed HD video, multiplexing, and retransmitting programs to both ASI and IP outputs. They offer a reliable and versatile platform for broadcast program decoding and TS protocol conversion.
