This unit supports DVB-C QAM, Off-Air ATSC, European DVB-T, and Latin America ISDB-T modulation standards, offering flexibility and compatibility for various broadcasting needs.

Designed to support low latency and full HDTV up to 1080p, this modulator is equipped with independent input cards, eliminating the need for additional converters. You can easily select between SDI and HDMI inputs through the options menu or the intuitive GUI. Each channel can be independently configured, allowing for seamless switching between SDI and HDMI inputs using front panel buttons or Thor’s proprietary web interface.

The Thor modulator provides the ability to set each of the 8 RF output channels independently, both in frequency and modulation standard. This means you can mix and match inputs and outputs, such as setting 4 channels to ATSC and 4 to QAM, offering unprecedented flexibility in your encoding and modulation setup.

Equipped with an NMS port and an LCD display with D-Pad buttons, the Thor Hybrid Modulator ensures easy setup and control. It supports major modulation standards like Clear QAM Annex A and B, ATSC-8VSB, DVB-T, and ISDB-T. The unit also supports MPEG2 video encoding up to 25Mbps per channel, along with audio formats such as AC3, MPEG1 Layer 2, and AAC. Thor’s renowned low latency and VCT (Virtual Channel Numbers) provide additional flexibility, allowing you to customize your RF channels across the spectrum without being confined to a linear block.
