Thor 4 mW CATV RF Over Fiber Tx 45-870 MHz

The Thor 4 mW CATV RF Over Fiber Transmitter is designed for transmitting television carrier signals and other RF signals within the 45-870 MHz range. This device ensures a linear response for full-band signal transmission.

With a 1310nm wavelength, this 4mW fiber optic transmitter converts incoming RF signals to optical RF, allowing all channels and programs to be transported over a single fiber. It supports both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint applications when used with PLC couplers and fiber optic splitters. The transmitter outputs industry-standard RFoG signals, compatible with most fiber optic RF receivers.

The easy-to-read front panel LCD provides essential information and alarm data, simplifying configuration. It features a highly linear DFB laser with automatic adjustment circuitry and Automatic Gain Control. For enhanced reliability, an optional second internal Power Supply Unit is available.

This transmitter is compatible with various Thor Fiber optical RF receivers, including the F-RF-RX-RM CATV RF Rack-Mountable Receiver, F-RF-RX-MN CATV RF Mini Optical Receiver, and F-Mininode CATV Mininode RF Receiver with return path RF transmitter.
